San Benedetto Val di Sambro

Located in the south-eastern part of the Apennines, its territory unfolds between the valleys of the Setta, Sambro and Savena.

An area rich in woods and springs, it is easily accessible thanks to a good network of paths that make it an ideal destination for pleasant excursions.

Starting with the one at Mount Bastione where, amidst the greenery, you can admire stretches of the paving of the ancient Roman road "Military Flaminia" (Flaminia Militare).

The tour of the ancient villages is very interesting, such as Zaccanesca, of Medieval origin, which still has intact architectural features left by the Comacine masters, as well as Qualto and Ripoli.
